PORTRAITS OF MY MEMORIES

I created those illustrations for times when memories of the moments aren’t so clear. Icons of what had happened and of what I felt for future me and some that find joy in them. Maybe I will create more of this in the future.

SWING
SWING-210x297mm - At the edge of the garden stands a tree with a swing made from an old tire. It was crafted especially for the children who occasionally return to their grandmother's home. The tire is gone now, and the children play with other things. Only we remember the swing on the tree, but that doesn’t matter.
BLUE HORSE
BLUE HORSE - 210x297mm - On the wall of the yellow house hangs a child’s illustration. In the haze of white smoke, a blue horse gallops atop a wooden chair. Thousands of written pages rest, tucked away in the bedside cabinet.
THEATER OF CLOUDS
THEATER OF CLOUDS - 210x297mm - When we lay on your bed in the old apartment, I felt safest in your arms. We watched the blue sky through the window, laughing at the stories told by the clouds. Even if you don’t remember it, this will always be my happiest memory with you.
DRAGON
DRAGON - 297x210mm - Somewhere in the yard, among dandelions and grass, lies a dragon’s egg. Its white shell reflects a rainbow, calling out to the world. I haven’t forgotten you, and one day I’ll find you—not just in my memories. Wait for me, cradled in the hands of a child.
WHITHOUT PURPOSE
WHITHOUT PURPOSE - 210x297mm - The glow of piercing eyes asking philosophical questions about life will never fade from my memory. Wet pants and the Świętokrzyski Bridge. To wander the world without purpose, for the journey itself is our goal. It awakened my inner light.
